I had a good night on board and the Swedish police asked me twice for the reason of my visit at arrival in Goteborg.  Camping seemed to be a good answer and they were especially interested in the car. Further no problems, So Sweden here I come!

For the first day in Sweden I searched for a nice wild camping spot on the internet the weeks before the travel.
I found a nice website with wild camping spots foreseen of a wind shelter and a fire pit and found out that these were intended for kayak users. However some of these real nice spots are accessible by car. I checked with the local tourist office and it was OK to use these.
I wanted to start via the West side of the Vänern lake  and on the way back, take the East side.
I almost reached the chosen location around Mellerud  but at the last 5 km there was a closed and locked gate on the road.
So far for my plans to be prepared for the first night...
I was already searching for a new suitable spot when a car stopped at the last house before the gate.
The driver was an older Swedish man who spoke a bit of German; he explained me that the road was closed and was private property of a company.
I chatted a bit longer with the man and he explained that he had the key of the gate and was willing to open it for me and show me the way to the camp site.
I thanked him with some Belgian Jupiler beers and he opened the gate. He drove in front of me on the gravel roads and I had to do my best to follow him, he went quite fast on these roads. And we saw the first moose of the trip :-)
He opened a second gate and told me to drive further alone to the camp site. We agreed to leave the second gate open and he will open the first gate the next morning at 10 am.
I arrived at the camp site and it was excellent. This was a perfect start for the first day on Swedish soil!
